Mission Statement
"To Develop and Equip Servant Leaders for God's Glory."
Our Mission
The goals of Texas Christian Academy are to develop the whole person for the glory of God "...in wisdom and stature, and in
favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52), and to provide experiences, that will encourage and equip students to become
servant-leaders in their communities. It is our objective to instill in students positive attitudes toward learning,
leadership, and creativity, as well as to insure their full intellectual, moral, physical, and spiritual development. Texas
Christian Academy has a responsibility to enable students to discover, develop, and refine their abilities in preparation
for college and vocational training. To meet these objectives while recognizing that students have differences in academic
and physical abilities, and in social development, we will strive to provide a full range curriculum.
With board members, faculty, and families from many different congregations, the school's non-denominational nature allows
for doctrinal freedom for our families, while maintaining a solid foundation on the life-changing power found in a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ. Our mission is to provide a Christ-centered education for children of the Central Texas area
without distinction by race, nationality or ethnic origin that:
- Is in accord with the entire Bible, which we believe to be the inspired, infallible and inerrant Word of God; Prepares
students with life skills for Godly participation in society as servant leaders; Affords academic excellence, spiritual depth
and moral integrity;
- Develops the body and character through athletic competition; Promotes individual artistic expression in art, music and
drama;
- Provides training in the latest technologies. Christian education is a hierarchy of responsibilities of family, church,
and school; and since TCA is a support ministry for the family and church, we believe it is vitally important that the student
and at least one parent be actively involved in a local Christian congregation. As a partnership of ministry-minded school
leaders, teachers, parent organizations, and interested community members, we pledge to maintain a fine and well-rounded
educational program that will glorify God.
