Fastweb has been around since 1995 and is a well-known resource for students and parents. The site matches a student's profile with a database of scholarships totaling over $1 billion. This service is free. Be sure that your school is a Fastweb member as there are school membership benefits, including an informative quarterly newsletter and free flyers and posters.

This site has a database of over 169,941 scholarships and is also free to students. It has a section for international students and will post no scholarship that involves a fee.

MeritMoney.com is the first and only centralized source of searchable information on college-specific academic scholarships.

NACAC has a section of "Web Resources for the College-bound" that has an extensive reference section for financial aid. Numerous scholarship sites are included.

FAFSA Forms

The FAFSA may be filled out on the internet or paper form. Remember, this form is the key to most scholarships and financial aid. Forms may not be turned in before January 1, 2008. Use your 2007 tax return.
